Kratom seeds should be legal
Because the seeds do not contain any illegal alkaloids they should be legal to buy and sell. I am coming to this conclusion because it is legal to buy and sell poppy seeds.
"While it is illegal to grow Papaver somniferum, many seed companies offer the seeds for sale, which is legal. The seeds don't contain opium and are used in salad dressings, bakery products and the manufacture of soaps. Though the seeds are safe to eat, the milky sap found in the plant is toxic to humans and animals and should be avoided."
I am not condoning breaking the law and growing anything illegal. I am pointing out that although they are banning the chemical it may be a grey area on growing the tree and the seeds are legal.
Anyone have any thoughts?
